Nodinite can be now delivered SaaS with help of a partner company with advanced IT solutions

It should be common knowledge by now that Nodinite can be applied in any of the following forms; as a managed services, as a software as a service (SaaS) or self-hosted on-premises. For customers seeking to have Nodinite as a SaaS we always refer to our partners that have developed this capability.

It is with pleasure that we have recently learnt that yet another of our partners plan to offer Nodinite as a SaaS. We think this is very exciting and are delighted to learn that they are offering an alternative way to provide Nodinite for organizations that prefer SaaS solutions.

Parts of Nodinite to run in containers in the future

The tech team of Nodinite is now working on containerizing the software. In the future it will be possible to run Nodinite on Kubernetes instances and Amazon. This means freedom of choice. Our customers will be able to run Nodinite on any technology, on-prem and in the cloud. Nodinite will benefit from the evolution and advances in AI, security, and all the advancements in all the IT fields.

Action required – Don’t miss the latest release notes

You need to start planning your future run-time for Nodinite! Nodinite 7.x is in development and requires a platform with the .NET 8 run-time installed.

• Have .NET 8 run-time installed
• Supported OS – Nodinite 7.0 is built and tested for Windows Server. Future releases may run on other hosting environments like Docker, Kubernetes, Linux, Azure ASE and more.
• Custom Plugins are no longer allowed – If you have any custom-built Plugins (Alerts and/or Search Fields), please get in touch with our support.
• Custom scripts (for example, in C#) in Stylesheets are no longer supported. If you have any custom scripts, please get in touch with our support team to have them evaluated and qualified to be pre-compiled and embedded with Nodinite.

Script to quickly install Nodinite for test environments

A script has been developed to help with Nodinite installations for test environments. Several of our partners have saved up to 80% of their time by using this script. This includes a full environment on windows, SQL Server set up and more. The script makes it faster and easier to install Nodinite.

Next Roundtable with Contica 19^th September – Mark the date in your calendars!

Contica are going to host a 4^th Roundtable event. The topic this time is “How to manage multiple integration platforms using Nodinite.” It is a hot topic which is sure to get its fair share of attention as plenty of organizations are using more than one integration platform or hybrid environments.

When and where?

It will be held online so all you need is a computer and an internet connection. Thursday the 19^th of September between 11.30 AM – 13.00 PM.

As with previous Roundtable sessions, there are a limited number of seats available. So do make sure to register to secure your seat as soon as possible!

It will be the 4^th roundtable arranged by Contica. The first roundtable held in November 2023 focused on how to save time and money by using Nodinite. The 2nd roundtable event in February this year discussed how to spread the usage of Nodinite outside the IT department. The focal point for roundtable three held in June was non-events and Nodinite. When something that should happen, for some reason, does not take place. Nodinite can account for non-events so that alerts can be set up if an expected action does not happen.

Strong interest in Nodinite-Roundtables

Previous webinars, or roundtable events as we also call them, have been an outstanding success. This is thanks to Contica who has led the field in the Nodinite webinars and put in a lot of effort to discuss relevant topics. They have also done a great job in creating a supportive environment.

These webinars are successful in part because they are an opportunity to share best practices in how to use Nodinite. In part because it is also creating a network, or community if you will, of likeminded individuals who face similar challenges and are seeking optimal solutions. What better way to do this than to create a deep pool of knowledge which is leveraged to find solutions.

The success of the roundtable events has not gone unnoticed. We are pleased to inform that more partners are expressing interest in organizing Nodninte-centered webinars of their own.
