About
This pulp and paper customer’s history with Nodinite stretches back many years. In fact, they were one of the earliest adopters of Nodinite. The case study reflects the experience of a large organization with a dedicated Integration Team inside the IT department. Nodinite is primarily used by the Integration Team today, with early adoption in one additional IT group, and plans to expand usage beyond IT over time.
The Solution: Standardize visibility with Nodinite while modernizing integration platforms

The organization is undertaking a long-term program to streamline integration platforms and IT operations. The stated goal is that by the end of 2030, nearly all integrations will be migrated to Azure Integration Services, with legacy systems phased out.
In this environment, Nodinite functions as a technology-agnostic monitoring and logging layer:
- Monitoring/logging coverage already includes ~250 BizTalk integrations.
- The organization estimates ~600–700 active integrations across platforms, while internal documentation references ~1,000 including older, inactive ones.
- Nodinite’s ability to monitor across Azure Integration Services and BizTalk reduces friction during platform transition.
The customer uses two core pillars of Nodinite:
- Monitoring
- Logging

Efficient incident handling
Because most integrations are stable and well-built, the Integration Team doesn’t fight fires constantly. The team reported spending around three hours per week resolving incidents on average. Often these issues are linked to human error rather than systemic integration instability.
Faster discovery with tailored search fields
By configuring many search fields in Nodinite, the team can quickly locate the root of issues. Missing orders and invoices are highlighted examples. Problems that could take hours to search for were solved in about 5 minutes with Nodinite.
Proven cross-platform support
Nodinite supports the customer’s mixed integration landscape (Azure Integration Services + BizTalk 2016/2020), and this flexibility is positioned as an advantage as more integrations move to Azure over time.
Looking ahead
As the organization continues its long-term modernization program toward Azure Integration Services, Nodinite is positioned to remain the consistent monitoring and logging capability across both current and future platforms. The IT department has also identified opportunities to further leverage Nodinite’s monitoring. Such as mapping integrations that are no longer used in production.
