In 2021 Ghost Labs first heard about Nodinite from a customer that used both. In 2022, work began on a Nodinite adapter for Ghost Nodes. As in so many business-case scenarios, the adapter was built for a simple yet compelling reason. The customer wanted Nodinite to work with Ghost Nodes. “It happened naturally” on the recommendation of the customer.

Nodinite manages Transdev’s monitoring and logging via Ghost Nodes. At present the repository is not used. This is because an excellent repository feature already exists in Ghost Nodes. If the need arises it can be added in the future. Realized benefits:

How Logging Works with Nodinite

Ghost Nodes manages the underlying data transfer between systems. Nodinite adds a monitoring layer that:

How Monitoring Works with Nodinite

At Transdev all error messages are sent through an adapter that converts any log and error messages to a predetermined Nodinite format before they are printed onto disk. Nodinite then has a Windows service that loads the files into their database so they can be presented in their Dashboard.
