About Polygon Group
Polygon Group is a leader in property damage control and temporary climate solutions, helping customers prevent, mitigate, and recover from water, fire, and climate-related incidents. Operating across Europe and North America, the company delivers critical services at scale. Supported by a small but effective central IT and integrations team.
The Challenge: Limited Monitoring Capabilities and a Growing Integration Landscape
Polygon Group uses Boomi as its primary integration platform, chosen in part for its low-code approach. But while Boomi offered basic error reporting, it lacked the insight needed to troubleshoot issues efficiently, especially across sub-processes and distributed teams.
Before Nodinite was implemented, only two people in the entire organization had the skills and complete oversight to monitor integrations. This created several challenges:
- High dependency on central staff: especially difficult during holidays or sick leave
- Frequent delays: overseas country teams had to wait for answers from central IT
- Limited visibility: managers couldn’t see incoming/outgoing data flows on their own
- High ticket volume: 3–4 tickets per day just to investigate issues for the central integration team
- Time-consuming debugging: Boomi doesn’t reveal where sub-process failures occur
Polygon first explored different monitoring solutions with Boomi, but none provided the depth or full-process visibility they needed. IFS offered built-in monitoring as well, but only for IFS, not for the broader integration landscape.
Polygon required a single, centralized, auditable platform for complete integration observability across different integration platforms.
Polygon Group uses all three core pillars of Nodinite:
- Monitoring
- Logging
- Repository

Scaling Across Countries and Teams
Polygon Group’s rollout strategy is ongoing. Today, 10 countries actively use Nodinite, with 20–22 regular users. More countries will adopt Nodinite in 2026 as integration needs grow.
Nodinite training is handled internally by the head of the integration team. They have also reviewed Nodinite e-learning resources. Role-Based Views are used to ensure teams only see the data relevant to their responsibilities.
Empowering Country Teams, Reducing Workload for Central IT
One of the biggest shifts was enabling international country managers to monitor and troubleshoot integrations independently.
Today:
- Country teams can see the exact data entering and leaving
- Functional and data-related errors are often solved locally
- The integration team only steps in for rare technical or critical issues
- Most support tickets from countries have disappeared
This autonomy has significantly reduced bottlenecks:
Before Nodinite, the central integration team checked Boomi four times a day and fielded several tickets from country managers. Now, these checks are no longer necessary, and most issues never reach the central team.
Nodinite has also helped eliminate blind spots, such as when target systems were down without anyone knowing. Now Nodinite continuously pings endpoints and alerts teams immediately if something is unavailable.
Faster Debugging, Clearer Insights, Earlier Notifications
Boomi’s biggest limitation for Polygon was its lack of deep visibility into sub-processes. Nodinite changed that overnight.
With Nodinite, the team can now:
- See exactly where a failure occurred
- Trace the full data path
- Inspect payloads at any step
- Identify root causes within minutes rather than hours
A standout example is SSL certificate management. When a certificate expires, integrations fail. Nodinite alerts Polygon immediately whenever a certificate expires inside Boomi, preventing downtime and accelerating resolution.
Measurable Impact
Since implementing Nodinite, Polygon Group has seen:
1. Local teams solving issues independently
No need to escalate routine issues to the central team.
2. Debugging made dramatically easier
Sub-process visibility in Boomi saves significant time.
3. Proactive system awareness
Automated pings and alerts highlight issues before they escalate.
4. Reduced ticket volume
From 3–4 tickets per day to nearly zero for routine errors.
5. Increased coverage and resilience
Integrations can be monitored even when key staff are away.
6. Time savings
~ 1 hour per day saved for one of the two central integration specialists.
Looking Ahead
Polygon expects to add 3–4 new integrations per year, with more countries joining Nodinite as their integration landscapes mature.
